Offices Alpha Omega Computers operate from a Kirklees Council owned and managed municipal building. The centre operates under the council’s own environmental guidelines for energy consumption and waste disposal.
I.T. Hardware Recycling Where possible Alpha Omega Computers will advise on how a client can recycle existing I.T. hardware giving potential budgetary advantages as well as reducing the environmental impact of running an I.T. system.
Purchasing All stationery is recycled within the limits of available technology.
When purchasing hardware for client’s requirements where possible a recycled option will be made available.
Energy and water saving and waste reduction We keep energy use low by turning off all electrical equipment and lighting when not in use (with the exception of relevant mission critical server hosting facilities).
All lighting in general office areas is activated via movement sensor switches.
We keep water usage to a minimum.
Re-use rather than dispose of resources whenever possible and continue a strict recycle policy.
Alpha Omega Computers specialise in rolling out terminal service environments and data migration. Terminal services can have a positive direct impact on a client’s energy consumption.
Alpha Omega Computers will always advise LCD monitors for reduced energy consumption purposes.
If acceptable with the client, and requirement, Alpha Omega Computers are specialists in reconfiguring and recycling second user hardware.
Travel Business travel is kept to a minimum.
